アルコーブは、とてもプラクティカルにできています。
少しぐらい散らかしても大丈夫な大きさのあるダイニングテーブルやコーヒーテーブル、寝転んで好きな本を読んだり、お昼寝をしたりできる大きなソファたちもあります。

また、気分によっていろんな場所の引き戸を開けたり閉めたりして自分なりの心地よいスペースを作ってくつろいだりもしていただけます。

Living like a Local

尾道にはたくさんのレストランやカフェ、伝統ある老舗さん、新鮮なローカル食材のお店や、新しい味のスウィーツショップなど美味しいものがたくさんあります。

アルコーブには、幅90センチ、長さ約270センチのペニンシュラキッチンがありますので、瀬戸内ならではの食材を手に入れてお料理を楽しんでいただくこともできます。

私たちは、2015年の秋に初めて尾道に来ました。尾道駅を一歩出た時の潮の香りで一瞬にして恋に落ちてしまったのです。

そしてそれ以来、毎年しつこくこの街に戻ってきては土地っ子チームとサイクリングをしたり、街を歩き回ったりして、もっと好きになり、2018年に尾道らしい路地にある小さな古民家を見つけたのでした。


この小さな古民家は、瀬戸内ベースの建築士さん、大工さんチームのおかげでアルコーブになりました。
